Software engineer in Tokyo. Ten years of web interfaces — five of them in football — now split between freelance work and my own products.

I build web interfaces, and I have done it long enough to care about the parts around them: the business problem, the data model, the release. I started at Olympique Lyonnais as an apprentice and left five years later as project manager and front-end developer, having shipped the club's data visualisation, live match and membership tools.
After that came Spurred, where I worked on talent matching — retrieval, LLM scoring, and the product surfaces that make a match believable. Today I am independent: freelance engineering for teams that need a v1 in production, and my own products the rest of the time.
I am drawn to data visualisation and to anything that makes a complex dataset legible. I did an eight-month internship in Tokyo years ago and said I would come back to work here one day — that part is done. Outside of work: sport, music, cinema and photography.
